Summary: "Bicycle and Quad works great for both!"

Now I can see how fast I am going when I race down a hill and all without holding my Oregon 200 in my hand. Now I can use my hands for handling the technical aspect of off road quading and look at my GPS for guidance too! Very easy to install all in all a very simple and useful tool.

Summary: "Some movable "play," but not so much to thwart usability"

Shipping was fast! Immediately after receiving the mount, I installed it on my Trek FX hybrid. Installation was less than 5 minutes; more time was spent on deciding where to install than on actually installing it. The zip ties make installation permanent, so be sure you have firmly decided on a location before you intall. Mounting slots allow the user to lock the zip ties in either the horizontal or vertical orientation; meaning, you can fasten the zip ties through side slots "horizontally" around the neck/stem, or through front/back slots "vertically" around the handlebars. The mount is NOT immovable, and as one reviewer explained, that is just nature of the zip ties. Expect some movable "play" once your GPS is mounted. In fact, there are times when you will welcome movability of your GPS such as on hilly terrain, featuring high elevation grades, ascending or descending. Just know that if you install the mounts using the horizontal slots, movability will be from side to side, not forwards and backwards. The zip ties hold onto your bike tight enough such that the movability is minor and does not thwart the usable purpose of the mount.

As far as performance goes, I have to say that the mount works great! I was initially concerned about the "movability" issue, and whether or not riding turbulence over long distances would cause the mount to work itself too loose to be effective. Well, I am currently training for a century (100+ miles on bike), and I have taken the mount on extended rides several times, 25 miles or better. In fact, I completed a 60-miler with it several days ago. Up to this point, movability is not an issue, not even in light rain; the zip tie hold is still tight. I use a Colorado 400t, which is considerably larger and heavier than the Oregon GPSs. I sincerely believe that I will have no problems with the movability of this mount during my century ride. How durable this mount is, however, remains to be seen, but so far its a 5-star value.

Summary: "Very Simple. Works Great!"

I've had other GPS bike mounts and this one is perfect. The mount is very simple. If you need to switch bikes just clip the zip ties and put new ones on. If you crank down the ties with a pair of pliers the GPS will not move around as you ride on rough roads. I've had other GPS receiver mounts break on rough roads but I don't worry about this one at all.

Summary: "Used it and loved it."

Recently did a 26 geocache bike trail using this product and it was incredibly useful to have on the bike. duh. Sure beats trying to hold your Garmin or use some kind of bubblegum and baleing wire to keep your $500 baby in place on your bike with you. Easy to take it off the bike for the small jaunts off-trail too.
If you geocache via bicycle or motorcycle, this is a must have accessory and worth every penny. Get one!
